All the time you idiot, seriously, take off the black mask, you know ur not black. And maybe in your little white town there is no mixing of any race (God forbid the klan found out) so you have not been exposed to the terminology.. stop being afraid of change… It’s here

Why can’t black people get over the fact that Obama is half black, as is the case with Tiger Woods, Hines Ward and etc.

Mutt is about being a mixed breed. That was the topic concerning the puppy for his daughter. I think he was just being frank. He’s a mix. Yes, but he might have been sending a message to the media. I have referred to myself as a mutt before. I’ve got a lot of different ancestry.

I watched the press conference this afternoon on TV. When Obama used that word, you could see a couple of members of the press visibly react, and some had a nervous laugh, but self-consciously were not certain if they should laugh. It was a bit jolting, as it is the sort of word that a white ****** might have once used against mixed-race peoples. Perhaps it was calculated, and intentional on the part of Obama, to defuse race just a little bit, now that he is the president-elect. He is not going to let that thing get to him, and he can make light of something that otherwise might be deadly serious for the next four years. Obama himself is the ONLY person who could have done this in public–nobody else of either party would have been able to say that and not be roundly criticized.

I thought that was a little awkward when he did that. Very…uncomfortable.

This whole mutt thing seems to be getting out of hand. I consider myself to be a mutt because I don’t have a clue about my ancestry but I do know I am an American and thankfully don’t have a hyphen in my ancestry. I don’t have any baggage, and I take the whole mutt thing quite lightheartedly. Don’t we have more to worry about than this?

I hope the media gets the hint, since for some reason as a unit they’ve decided to call Obama black instead of half-black. Think of how his mother would feel about that if she were still alive. It’s like they’re trying to pretend she never existed.

I had never hear anyone else refer to themselves in this manner.
