thank you all who answered..and God bless you all who gave positive feedback. though no answered with a negative response i truly believe in my heart that we are all Gods children and he created us all in His own likeness and hopefully in the future more people will be able to accept all races and learn to love one another without regards to color or race. I think that *********** relationships are acceptable. If you love each other that is all that matters. You only have one life to live. Live it by your rules and no one else’s. Besides researchers say that one day the human race is going to be only one race a combination of everyone.
i don’t know. But, my parents were a mixed couple and i think its wrong for ppl to have a problem with it… just my opinion. Like if you love each other, who should care about that?
Because the world is full of hateful people. I can’t even elaborate because it is right there, all about the hatred. I’m sorry you have to go through this.
God created us all, if someone has a problem with a mixed marriage, they should take it up with Him.
I don’t have any problem whatsoever with mixed relationships. Whatever makes you guys happy is fine by me. If you’re getting looks, maybe it’s because they think you guys are a cute couple!
I don’t know why people have a problem with it. My parents are a mixed couple. Theres nothing wrong with it. There are a lot of famous hollywood coulples that are in mixed race relationships.
I personally dont have a problem with it but I have many friends who do. I have a problem with it when a black man says they will only date a white woman or a mexican woman .I think thats horrible. I think if you happen to fall in love with a person from a different race then so be it. I also hear ppl say theyre are so many wonderful men and women in their own race why step out of it?? This probley was not much help but I really get what your saying. ALso when different races date,they tend to rub off on one another and then they becomes a whole other problem because he/she may act black or act white. I hope this was helpful.
I had what seems to have been an odd reason for not wanting to see mixed relationships although over the years that has changed and I believe that it is okay. I use to think that if everyone got together in these mixed relationships that it would totally dissolve the different races and that would be sad. Sort of like the fact that we have not very many true Indians left in the US. I have always felt it was such an injustice that we stole the Indians land and corralled them all into reservations so that we could greedily take up the rest of their land. I am somewhat of a romantic and to me peoples differences are what makes the world so great but perhaps inter-meshing those differences into similarities is not so bad either.
I think its a pop cultural think. Some people get the idea that one race is stealing the other or something. As long as your good to eachother and vette out any cultural differences you might have, you’ll be ok.
people that **** it r those with contempt for other races, the stereotypes. i think that relationship proves that colour is only skin deep whatever comes after that is hate,ignorance n ..hate!in this case i wud use the cliche ‘love is blind’ becoz truly love ’sees no colour’.i wish u a happy ‘colourful’relationship!!!!!!
people dont like it because they are ******…………… and its part of there own up bringing and how they were raised .

Sweetie I wish I had the answer for this. You’d think that people would get over it…its 2007 almost 2008 for god sake.
Listen, I mean you’re going to get stares because people are ignorant like that. That’s just the way people are sometimes. They lead miserable lives so they want to take it out on everyone else.
Listen that just shows you that people sometimes have nothing better to do….if you’re happy then you are happy…forget about everyone else. Its about you two!
or next time some stares just say…..Do you want me to wait while you take a picture or would you like me to take it for you.
People always stare at me and its because I get mistaken for Kim Kardashian. They’re always just staring me in the face and I either say that to them or lol lol I just make my eyes look bigger and say BOO lmfao its so funny!

It’s 2007 and sometimes I can’t believe how some people are still so stupid about this subject. My husband is white and I know we used to get hated on before. But I don’t even know if people have a problem with this or not because I tune those people out.
I think it also depends on where you live. I live in Orange County California. I think most people are used to that out here.
Also, some people are just flat out unhappy about their situation. It doesn’t matter that you guys are necessarily mixed. It just so happends that you two stick out.
Remember people are natural haters. They will **** on you if you seem to be better educated, have a nice car, the list can go on. Please don’t worry about these people, they will have a life changing experience that will change their mind one day. Trust me that’s what happend to me and eventually led to all my mixed kids : )
I don’t have a problem with it as it is not my place to judge. It’s not the 1950’s.
What other people think shouldn’t concern you or bother you. Everybody has their own prejudices and preferences and no one can please everyone all of the time.
dj as long as you and your beloved are strong enough to ignore the ignorance that is bound to come your way then don’t worry about it.
i don’t understand why people resent it so much but i still hear comments here and there about mixed races, mixed religions, etc.

I think that a lot of people were raised that way. They do not like what is different from them. There is a lot of hatred in the world.
You’re just associating with the wrong people. This is 2007, not 1897. Just ignore them if they can’t respect you or your relationship enough to keep quiet.
Some people in this world are IGNORANT AND STUPID that is why they have a problem with *********** couples and also some are prejudice is sounds silly but racism still exist today….SKIN COLOR DOESN’T DEFINE LOVE Enjoy your life together with your fiancee!!!
